Waterbomb Seoul 2018 : Water Fight Festival with K-pop Music Concert

   WATERBOMB Festival 2018, aka Water Variety Dance Music Festival is to take place on next month at Jamsil Sports Complex. This event is so-called water fight, combined with music concerts by famous K-pop singers.

   I've attended this festival last year. For the travelers who come to Seoul in July, this will be a great opportunity to feel the dynamic summer night in Seoul.    This is a photo taken from the Waterbomb Seoul 2017. Attendee should chose a team that s/he will fight for: Green Team or Blue Team (colors may change). S/he will get a scarf of the team color. 




   
   Mainly, the festival consists of 30min concerts of twenty each artists, singers, rappers, and K-pop musicians. However between and during the concerts, there will be a water fight. You can shoot watergun to another team players. Also, a water fight game called "Defence Tower" takes place.  

   However, there will be additional attractions: beach lounge themed with palm trees and flamingo tubes. You can feel the beach vibe right at the center of Seoul. 

   There are some events that you can get a reward during the Waterbomb Seoul: take a photo of yourself, or with another guy or girl in the place. Upload it with Hashtag #waterbomb_green or #Waterbomb_blue, and your photo will be displayed at a large LED Screen in the Waterbomb site.  The team that uploads more photos will win. Afterwards, the Waterbomb host company will chose uploader in random and reward s/he with prize.


   A water fight between grown-ups may seem funny, but it really is a great event that you can enjoy only in summer in Seoul.
