Magnum Seoul : Magnum Ice Cream Opens Its First Flagship Cafe in Korea

   Last weekend, one of my friend told me that Belgium originated ice cream brand Magnum opened its first store in Korea, right at the center of the Gangnam. I was there with one of my friend, and it was a great experience to enjoy rich and sweet flavor of one of the most famous ice cream brand.

   The Magnum Cafe Seoul is located right in front of Sinnonhyun-station of Seoul subway line no.9. Also you can get there from Gangnam Station line no.2, however it would be much closer to use the first one.

   The first store of Magnum brand in Korea has exterior with gold and chocolate color so it won't be easy to miss it. Many people were there to experience the "Make your own Magnum", the special menu of the Magnum Pleasure Store Seoul.

   Find the price on the menu photo above. Prices are in KRW. Ice americano is 4,000 KRW, which is reasonable price compared to other cafes aroud Gangnam and Nonhyun area. the signature menu "Make your own Magnum" is 5,600 KRW. The menu is also written in English.

   The Magnum Cafe Gangnam sells Ice cream menus, however it also has coffee and other drink products. If you are looking for a great dessert cafe in Gangnam area, this one will be a good option. 

   What i tried the on the first visit of the Magnum cafe is its signature menu, 'Make you own Magnum". This menu is specially made only for you. You can make a choice for every stage of making the only-one-ice-bar. 

   There are for steps that you need to follow:

     first, choose the base ice-bar. There are vanilla and chocolate flavor.

     Second, choose three toppings from 23 kinds*

     Third, choose the chocolate coating from dark, milk or white chocolate.

     Fourth, make your last choice for chocolate drizzle.

     *23 kinds of toppings are: Wafer pieces, Dark chocolate and toffee, Meringue pieces, Cream and cookie crumble, Strawberry cookie crunches, Lotus cookies, Cacao nibs, Roasted Almonds, Coconut chips, Blossom white chocolate, Blossom dark chocolate, Blossom Strawberry chocolate, Popping star green tea, Popping star yellow, Truffle salt, Maple sugar, Crispearls white, Crispearls dark, Crispearls mixed, Freeze dried blueberry, Freeze dried raspberry, Freeze dried strawberry.

   Follow thee steps above and there comes your ready-to-eat ice cream bar. I could not take a picture of my special ice cream, but it was great to feel the mango candy and dried strawberry mixed with rich chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

   Also there are many places which are good for taking pictures for Instagram. If you will come to Seoul and visit Gangnam station, spare time to visit this sweet dessert cafe.
