This 2018 Chagall exhibition consists of six sections: Portrait and Portrait, My Life, Theme of the Lovers, Illustrations of the Bible, Dead Souls, The Fables of La Fontaine, Burning Lights.

For me, the name of Marc Chagall reminds me of his abundant colors and forms of painting. However, from the masterpieces of this exhibition, I could feel his another sides from stained glass designs and find art prints. It's quite an rare opportunity to see his sketches, croquis, and other art pieces.

Also there was a wall with imitated stained glass, which reflects the original stained glass of Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center, Jerusalem. Lightened with LED panels, the stained glass portraying twelve tribes of Israel, with four dominant colors. With the holy songs filling the airs in the gallery, the lights made audiences feel safe and relaxed.

There is nothing much to buy at the art shop of this exhibition. Usually I like to buy some postcards with strong colors to decorate the desk wall in my office. However, there was not many postcards that are from this Chagall exhibition: Love and Life. I could find some products that are not from this exhibition. However, notes and phone cases are in great color. I would visit the exhibition again before it ends. If you are a fan of Chagall who comes to Korea, spare time to visit this great exhibition!
